Voluteers Need for Putnam Cleanup
For Earth Day this year, the Greater Putnam Interfaith Council funded by The Last Green Valley & Runnings Home & Outdoor Store will be having their Earth Day Cleanup Project in Putnam behind the Dunkin Donuts on Kennedy Drive.

Clean-up of a vacant and troublesome area behind the Dunkin Donuts/houses on Kennedy Drive (to the left of the mall parking lot). It's full of trash right now, quite an eye sore. The town has plans to use the area that would benefit the community and cleaning it up would help further the project greatly.

Vinyl gloves, trash bags, snacks and water will be provided. Adult volunteers may want to bring work gloves. The town will provide a truck and remove the trash for us. After the area is cleaned, they will mow down the tall weeds with their equipment and perform site preparation as necessary.
